Life Youth Summer Service
Join us as we serve our community with Tacoma Rescue Mission and Coffee Oasis. Tacoma Rescue Mission has served those experiencing homelessness in Tacoma since 1912. Coffee Oasis has been serving youth who are at risk or experiencing homelessness in the Bremerton and Tacoma area since 1997. Our first two days we will serve two days with Tacoma Rescue Mission preparing food, serving the community, and helping with grounds upkeep. Our last two days we will help the Coffee Oasis Tacoma branch with some much needed grounds upkeep and landscaping. During this time our team will learn about these important ministries and the work that they do.
Each day students must wear closed toed shoes, long pants, and comfortable shoes to work in. We ask that they eat breakfast each day before arriving. We ask that students be sent with a sack lunch on Tuesday (7/9) and Wednesday (7/10). Sign up by clicking the button below to create an account with Tacoma Rescue Mission and sign up to serve lunch at the Downtown Campus on July 8 & 9 (this step is not necessary if your student is only serving on the 10th and 11th. Next, complete the form below below and make sure to fill our a waiver to deliver it to Pastor Nick in person or digitally.

9:00 am – Love Your Neighbor Workshop with TRM
11:00 am – Prepare and serve lunch
2:00 pm – Depart TRM
2:15 pm – Arrive at HLC
