Leadership

Leading a church is an adventure.  Our adventure in Gig Harbor began in July of 2007 with a turn-around church.  The church is much different than it was then. Though change is rarely easy, it has been good and necessary.   Our best days are in front of us.  I love my big family, sports, muscle cars, a good Netflix series, a good book, working on our house, and family vacations.  

Besides spending time with my seven amazing kids, I enjoy a good story, walking, and podcasts.  I love working alongside my husband and being a part of a growing community of people.  Chidlren's ministry is a passion of mine because I want our kids to know that Jesus loves them and our church loves them.  They deserve to have a great church experience.  

Seeking, hearing, innovating, and executing are my passions.  I love to seek and apprehend what God is doing, being a part of that and the movement of His Kingdom.  

I'm passionate about growing, ministering, and reaching out together.  My heart is to see us continually transformed through spiritual growth; to see us engaging in and expanding our areas of ministry and influence through our passions and gifts; to see us moving forward together into areas of community engagement that bring Jesus to a world that needs Him.  

Life with Jesus is a journey like no other! I love getting to watch Him work in our church community to spark new growth and vision. Kelsey and I have been married since 2017 and love any chance we have to do ministry together. We both grew up in the Bellingham, WA area and now call Gig Harbor home. I graduated from from Western Seminary with a Master's of Divinity and Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's in Communications. Outside of ministry, I enjoy skiing, hiking, photography, LEGO, and all things Star Wars (minus episode 8).
