I was born and raised in a giant ministry family of eleven people. I accepted Jesus when I was 5, was filled with the Holy Spirit when I was 6 at a revival gathering and baptized the following year. I was home schooled from kindergarten through high school and did running start my senior year. I engaged in music starting at age 5 and was playing bass, drums and piano for the youth worship team when I was 12. Music was a major part of my education and then implemented in ministry.
In terms of sports, I played baseball when I was much younger then soccer, basketball and track for my middle school and high school years. Today, I enjoy most summer and winter sports. My very favorite is snowboarding!
I remember enjoying youth as far as camps, activities and weekly gatherings and knew that I was called to be a youth pastor and worship leader when I was entering my twenties. I have refereed soccer, taught private music lessons and been a salesman until I began working in ministry.
I attended multiple community colleges, CFNI and Northwest University for a degree in Org. Communication with an emphasis in Bib lit and gen. music. I love preaching, playing music, hanging out with people, road trips, coffee chats, golfing, watching movies, cheering on the Seahawks, and a multiplicity of other things.
One of my favorite verses is found in John: “Apart from me you can do nothing.” It’s Jesus’ strength working through me to accomplish his will for my life!
