Everybody has a next step. It’s important to intentionally position ourselves for growth in a over-committed and under-connected world. Here are some simple steps to help get you on a path of growth. What is your Next Step?
Jesus said, “Whoever desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (Mark 8:34).” Following Jesus is more than a prayer or a way to get out of trouble. It is a decision of the heart to live a different way – a way marked by love and forgiveness. Contact us if you are interested in learning more.
Take The Plunge And be Baptized
Water baptism is simply an outward expression of the inward reality of a transformed heart that comes through relationship with Jesus. It signifies that we are dead to sin and alive to Christ – free to live in the newness of the Jesus life.
Attend a Gathering
Why meet regularly? A good question, right? Meeting together helps to establish healthy rhythms that promote spiritual growth. At Harbor Life, your spiritual connection will be inspired with music, your mind will be transformed with God’s word and you will be strengthened and encouraged with relational connections. At the conclusion of the talk, Next Steps are also used as a means to encourage growth beyond Sunday and they serve as a great lead into our Life Groups.
Get Connected in a Life Group
We believe that life is best lived when it is lived with others. Group life is the ideal environment for growth and relational connections. Take the Next Step and get involved in a group today.
Finding a Place to Serve
According to Romans 12, each of us have been given gifts that are to be used in proportion to our faith for the purpose of building up the community of Christ followers. Ministry therefore, is an expression of what we have been given. Our passion is to help you discover and express your gift. Below are some great questions to get you thinking about the right place for you.
What am I passionate about? What do I get excited about? What moves my heart? Do I love working with kids? Do I like organizing things or working with people?
